Tongue bars, tongue jewellery & tongue studs, most are available in bar lengths of 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 16mm, 20mm or 22mm, most tongue piercings ( but not all!!) are initially pierced with 16mm long bars, then after it has healed you can change the size to a slightly shorter bar if you want, but please measure your bar size if possible, then you can try a slightly longer or shorter bar if you wish. Remember that your tongue will still swell up slightly when eating, sleeping etc., so don't get a tongue bar that is too short, as you need to always leave room for your tongue to change slightly.
