Pregnancy belly bars can usually be worn until very late on in the pregnancy, depending on how much your belly piercing stretches during pregnancy, some have to take even these out in the later stages. You can easily cut these to a shorter bar length if you want, all you need to do is cut the bar at a slight angle with sharp scissors, then get a steel or titanium top ball from one of your other belly bars, and holding the pregnancy belly bar firmly, try to gently screw on the steel of titanium ball, it will be fairly hard at 1st, as you will be cutting a new thread in the flexible belly bar by doing this, but it will get easier as it starts to work.
Most people however leave them as they are, at approx 20mm long.
If you do want to cut your pregnancy belly bar shorter please remember to leave enough for your belly button piercing to change and stretch, as well as leaving enough for the new thread on the bar, if you are unsure we will always do this for you if you ask when ordering. (the new size will be within 1mm of what you ask for .)
